Fractional Ownership

Thanks to NFT, we are building the largest private collection of classical art. You can become one of the owners of the works of the great masters.

As part of this project, the platform plans to locate world-famous art objects verifying their authenticity in partnership with a number of major museums.

Thanks to NFT, the rights of use for the obtained art objects will be certified in the form of several thousand unique particles, and the platform participants will be able to buy famous masterpieces of world art in parts using tokens. The cost of each unique piece will depend on the size of the art object and its value. The cost will vary from USD 1,000 to 30,000.

According to the approved declaration, after the acquisition and import of art objects to Russia, the partner museum that took part in its selection will be able to obtain the rights to its long-term exposition for 3-5 years. After the exhibition period is over, all art objects will be exhibited at the Third Place gallery, and the token holders will own the right of unlimited access to the masterpiece.

Thus, with the help of the Third Place NFT platform, absolutely anyone will have the opportunity to own the rights to works worth tens of millions of dollars, and the art lovers will be able to enjoy masterpieces of such great artists as Renoir, Van Gogh, Gauguin, and many others decorating the walls of public art spaces.

Project Development

Governance Token

Buying a Renoir painting is just the first step in a long journey towards our goal of creating the largest private art collection. By taking part in this project, you will be able to become a full-fledged co-owner of this collection, get closer to art as much as possible.

Each NFT owner of the "THE GREATEST WORKS OF ART" project will be able to stake his NFT, and receive the Governance token. The Governance token allows you to take part in making decisions within the project framework, for example, to vote on the next painting to be purchased, to choose a place to host the artwork, to decide on what temporary exhibition to take part in.

Project FAQ

What rights and opportunities will token holders get?
Token holders, in addition to the rights of use listed in the NFT, will be able to:
  • Initiate displaying paintings to the general public once it is placed in a Museum;
  • Have access to the metrics of artwork storage conditions (temperature and humidity levels);
  • Observe the image of an artwork within a CCTV camera.
    Can I choose a specific part of the painting?
    No, the particles are chosen completely randomly. You can buy out several particles at once and, using the secondary market, even collect a certain area of the image over time.
    Where can I personally see the painting?
    After the purchase, the painting is delivered to the creative cultural city space The Third Place based in the old mansion Naryshkin Palace in the heart of Saint Petersburg and will be available for the private show to its NFT holders. Later the painting can be placed in a temporary exhibition in one of the partner museums.
    Can I resell my particle?
    When all particles are sold out, the secondary market will be launched.
    Who will legally own the painting itself?
    The real painting itself will be owned by the non-profit Third Place Foundation.
    If the painting would be displayed in a museum, what difference does it make whether I own an NFT or not?

    The painting in the public space will be exhibited in a special black box, which will be equipped with environmental control sensors, lighting, surveillance camera, and, most important - automated curtains that will reveal the painting to the general public according to a schedule (for example, from 12:00 to 14:00).

    The owners of the NFT can exercise their rights at any time by exposing the picture whenever they choose to.
